“In my experience, if I am feeling lonely, insecure, or bad in any way, serving others changes my mood to one of happiness, contentment and hopefulness. Other times, I am already feeling joyful and hopeful and want to share that with others then contributing is simply an extension of those feelings. For me, volunteering is the single most important action I can do to create change in the world.”
