Kevin SL Wong is a Hong Kong Chinese living in Berlin, Germany. He is currently a coach in product leadership and communications.

Before this, he worked as a data scientist for 7 years, and then he became a product manager focused on data science at a few German startups.

Kevin has seen a lot of conflicts at work in his years of professional experience. Not only did he struggle to handle these conflicts, he also had zero clue how others gave feedback on him being “too nice” whilst at the same time being “too much of a pain to work with”. As a devout Christian, he didn’t find solace in the churches he was attending either, as they were also full of conflicts, big and small.

NVC changed all that as Kevin grew in self acceptance, and confidence in how he related to others. He still struggles a lot, and he now sees these struggles as opportunities to practice and get better at living NVC.

Kevin currently offers coaching to working professionals such as product managers. He focuses on promoting habits that would bring teamwork and common understanding. Naturally, NVC is a crucial part of this. He also offers corporate training. He hopes to see work become more enjoyable for others through what he does. It is also Kevin’s dream to bring NVC to churches, and Chinese communities around the world.
