Transforming Conflict at Home and Beyond with Aya Caspi - starts October 1!
Dates and Time: October 1, 8, 22, and 29 (4 Tuesdays) from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm CT on Zoom
Each Virtual Classroom Recording will be sent to participants.
Classes will include slide presentations, modeling in the whole group using live situations, and practice in small groups.
Extra session(s) to support practice and integration will be held October 15th, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm (and possibly one other date TBA) led by HNVC board members.

Based in Northern California, Aya Caspi brings her unique blend of vision, practical clarity, and deep commitment to the transformative power of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to settings as varied as schools, colleges, parenting, couples counseling, mediation, nonprofit organizations, social change communities, and media. Aya has served as an educational consultant on several preschool series, creating original curricula and advising on show development and scripting. Her client list includes Warner Bros., Discovery Media, 9 Story Media Group, Cartoon Saloon, Field Day Entertainment, the Cartoon Network, and HBO Max.
Aya has been sharing NVC’s work internationally via online classes and in-person retreats. She continually grapples with the joys and challenges of being raised in Israel and finds deep, open hope in applying NVC to the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Projects and lasting partnerships have evolved through people meeting each other in our workshops. Workshops are offered online and in-person. The in-person opportunities allow for a heightened experience of integration whereas the online workshops offer ease and accessibility. Houston NVC is committed to offering entry level courses as well as advanced work. We are also open to requests and love to hear feedback on what works and what doesn’t. Since we aim to service multiple time zones with our online courses, you will want to check our calendar regularly for changes.
