Introducing our brand new Virtual Book Club starting February 24, 2025!

The club will meet weekly on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time.

We invite you to a light-hearted space where we will gather (via Zoom) to practice and share skills that support presence and connection. The emphasis will be on learning and growth, having fun, and connecting. 

Please join us for the book club’s first selection—a fun, safe, collaborative romp through Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication, A Language of Life, 3rd edition. We will use the Nonviolent Communication Companion Workbook to provide structure and practice ideas as we deepen our connection with the author’s wonderful wisdom.

For this first pair of books, all participants will be invited to take turns selecting the practices and guiding the discussion for one of the chapters. The chapters are short, and each week, we will discuss the chapter read before the meeting. The group may elect to spend more than one week on specific chapters. The group will meet for 14 to 20 sessions to finish the 13-chapter book.

The holders of this safe learning container, Lisa Westbrook (Katy, TX) and Cindy Wooldridge (Katy, TX), have more than two years of experience in a weekly Empathy Circle and/or a year-long training with a CNVC-certified trainer. CG Go (Wakefield, MA) has volunteered to provide technical Zoom assistance.
