I am a coach, facilitator, and trainer who is passionate about helping individuals, groups, and organizations transform into who they most want to be. I was incredibly excited when I initially learned about NVC because Marshall’s ideas resonated so deeply with my own longing for a peaceful world – one steeped in connection, community, choice, respect, and harmony. However, it wasn’t until over a decade later that I really actively started practicing in my own life and became interested in sharing it with others. After spending over 20 years performing cancer research, I left science in 2012 to transition my career to coaching full-time. It was through my coach training program that my passion for NVC was reignited, and it has become an integral part of my private coaching practice as well as in my life. My practice focuses on enhancing job performance, resilience, engagement, and health through the development of personal leadership attributes and competencies, such as emotional intelligence and peaceful conflict resolution – so NVC is a perfect fit! In addition to NVC playing a foundational role in my coaching work, I am especially grateful to have NVC as a tool in my role as a parent, and enjoy helping other parents apply the principles through teaching parenting classes and workshops.
